How we get along in the marketplace
Buy, help, grow and earn: on Reyes Connect you sell your things, network with the community and organize your data.
1. Respect, always
Treat buyers and sellers the way you want to be treated: no insults, no discrimination, no pressure.
2. Allowed items only
No weapons, drugs, counterfeits, documents, animals or anything illegal or dangerous. Cars and real estate can be listed, but close in person with a title or deed.
3. Real photos and descriptions
Photos of the actual item (not stock), honest condition (new, like new, used or for parts) and visible defects. A misleading listing is removed.
4. Messages go through NOV!A
NOV!A hides phone numbers, addresses and links for safety. Contact is shared only when an offer is accepted and both authorize it.
5. Serious offers
An offer is a commitment: the seller responds within 72 hours and, if they accept, the buyer confirms within their window or the acceptance moves to the next. Don't offer for what you don't intend to buy.
6. Meet in public places
Deliver in a public place with people around (a police station is ideal), during the day, and bring company if you can. Never at your home or theirs.
7. Payments without surprises
Pay by card through the platform or in person when you receive the item. Never send deposits in advance outside the platform, nor checks, nor verification codes. The platform fee is paid by the seller only at closing.
8. Report and block
If something smells like a scam, harassment or a prohibited item, report it from the listing and block the person. We review reports within 24 hours.
9. Zero tolerance
Scams, harassment, prohibited items or breaking a signed agreement end in account suspension.
10. Reyes Connect is the platform
We are the meeting place: we don't sell, buy or hold items, and we are not a party to the sales. Differences are resolved between the parties.
📖 How the Reyes Connect marketplace works
1. Listing
Listing is free. Every listing has a category and the item's condition (new, like new, used or for parts), real photos of the item, a price and a truthful description. Prohibited items are not allowed (weapons, drugs, counterfeits, documents, anything illegal). The community can report a listing; several reports pause it for review.
2. Offers and payment
A buyer with an account can make a formal offer. The seller has 72 hours to accept, counter or decline; each counteroffer renews the deadline. When the seller accepts, the buyer has a window (24 hours by default) to confirm; if they don't, the acceptance moves automatically to the next best offer. NOV!A shows estimated price comparisons (sales on the platform, depreciation by category): they are educational, not an appraisal. Payment is made by card through the platform (funds go directly to the seller's account and Reyes Connect deducts its fee) or in person upon delivery; in that case the fee is invoiced to the seller once both parties confirm delivery. Reyes Connect charges only when the transaction closes.
3. Seller's responsibilities
The seller represents being the lawful owner of the item, describes it truthfully (including its condition and defects), delivers it as listed, honors the bill of sale signed with the buyer and takes care of their own tax obligations. The seller pays the platform fee at closing.
4. Buyer's responsibilities
The buyer reviews the item (photos, description, questions through NOV!A and, if they wish, an in-person inspection before paying), pays the agreed amount by the agreed means, receives the item "as is" except for what the law does not allow to exclude, confirms receipt on the platform and takes care of their own tax obligations.
5. Reyes Connect is the platform
Reyes Connect Inc is the technology platform where buyer and seller meet, negotiate, sign and document. It is not a party to the sale, neither seller nor buyer, does not hold the items, does not verify or guarantee their condition or the parties' statements. The platform's bill of sale is for personal property without a title; cars close in person with the title and real estate by deed with a title company or attorney, outside the platform. Any dispute between the parties is resolved between them; the platform may suspend accounts that break these rules.
6. Contact, privacy and electronic signature
Messages go through NOV!A, which hides phone numbers, addresses and links for safety. Name and email are shared with the other party only when both authorize it, after an offer is accepted. The agreement is signed electronically (ESIGN / UETA); the typed name and confirmation count as a signature. Reyes Connect keeps this acceptance (date, version, IP and device) as evidence; you can revoke it by writing to Reyes Connect, and until then it applies to everything you list or offer.
